I’m not going to lie, there are already constant additions to the unnecessarily long ‘I want, no, need it’ list inside my head. Sometimes, out of pure fear that I might forget to put aside 50 quid for another eyeshadow quad, I write these things down. Today, an innocent wishlist has quickly turned into a list of things I must never forget that I need, whilst also being, a list of things that will require some serious budgeting (aka expensive… or high-end products). To no surprise, my current (and inevitable) lipstick obsession has spread to Tom Ford, a range of lipsticks that are many people’s number one luxury lip (a watch of a couple Lip Product Addict Tags will confirm this), the classic colour range, pretty packaging and highly regarded quality makes me crave a couple (at least) but the shade Flamingo (a very pretty traditional pink) most of all. After hearing the news that the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette is back (and no longer just limited edition), I noticed the gaping hole in my make up collection that it would fit into perfectly. Having resisted getting on board with the hype of these powders for so long, the palette’s return feels almost like a sign, a second chance you might say. Sticking with very high-end and pricey items, the Charlotte Tilbury range has been niggling away at me for so long now, too. The amazing rapport Charlotte Tilbury has with some very influential bloggers has resulted in some beautiful tutorials and reviews which has sparked such an interest in a range (I, personally) wouldn’t have fussed about before; in particular, the contouring and highlight duo (if not for the packaging alone…) looks like pure indulgence, whilst the eyeshadow quad in The Rebel currently holds some of my favourite greens ever.
Summer is well and truly in the air (it’s quite warm) which gives the all-go for bright, bright nails! My eyes are currently on the 80s rewind collection from Deborah Lippmann, six bold, almost neon shades in striking primary and secondary classic colours, favourites being Walking on Sunshine (yellow) and Whip It (pink – can you tell I’m having a pink moment). The Essie Summer collection has eased me into colour, and I am a true convert! Lastly (on this list at least) is the Zoeva Rose Gold brush set, 8 brushes gorgeously set in black & rose gold, highly raved about, and (apparently) fantastic quality for such a great price! Thinking about it watching essiebuttonvlogs and Estée‘s channel has definitely enabled me more than my concious mind has noticed…
Thanks for reading, I’d love to know some of your high-end wishlists, we could all have a little cry together about not being able to buy them all at once.
