When certain products gain popularity they can become near impossible to get a hold of. I experienced this to a large degree with the Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray, and to an even larger degree, NARS’ Creamy Concealer in the shade Vanilla. Now they are both mine, the initial excitement and relief of finally getting a hold of them has worn down, and I have come to some conclusions.
This setting spray from Urban Decay had its moment a while ago, basically a primer in spray form, can be used before or after make up application, with the aim of extending its longevity. The all-nighter spray is also popular when it comes to wet/dry eyeshadow, acting almost like a glue, and making your smokey eye literally last all night. I am now reaching the end of my travel-sized bottle (very cute) and have been very pleased with how it’s performed. The difference when I don’t use it means a lot of my make up is gone by 6pm (with no top ups), so here’s no doubt that it’s going on the re-purchase list.
This fella was a little harder to lock down. The countless now-in-stock emails I missed or read too late meant that I only got a hold of this in February (after being after it for at least 8 months). After some very heavy use it’s now nearing its end – but has served me well. Once I’d used it a couple of times, it’s so understandable why it’s been such a hit. Firstly I did experience a little more cakey-ness than expected, but on less delicate areas it offers reliable coverage that lasts (even without the all-nighter spray), and feels comfortable on the skin, in my opinion, well worth the wait.
